Berry Sarbadhikary later became a well-known cricket commentator and worked with All India Radio for over two decades. Sarbadhikary was known for his smooth and authoritative commentary and his deep knowledge of the game.
Berry Sarbadhikary was particularly famous for his coverage of the India-Pakistan cricket matches, which were among the most anticipated and high-profile matches in the cricketing world. Berry Sarbadhikary also wrote several books on cricket one of them being ” Amar Dekha Cricket”. He committed suicide on 19 December 1976 at the age of 72.
