Biplab Dasgupta was born on January 1, 1970.
He is an actor who primarily works in the Bengali film industry. He has worked as an actor for over two decades, although his debut feature film was Shadows of Time in 2004. He has taken up roles in TV Movies as well as in theatre, having even played the role of Macbeth.
One of the highlights of his professional life, he claims, was working with Soumitra Chatterjee and Naseeruddhin Shah in Debotaar Grash in 2019. He is known for his roles in Feluda (2017), Baishe Srabon (2011), and 89 (2015).
