Kayes Ahmed was a powerful Writer even from Post divisional Bangladesh.
He was born on 1948, 25 March. He lived in Northbengals Hoogly Districts Srirampur stations Borotajpur Village. Among His three brothers, he was the eldest. His mother’s name is Oliunnesa, Father’s name is Sheikh Kamal Uddin Ahmed.
Among the events of partition in the country and his father’s job changing, He reached Dhaka with his family.
Kayes Ahmed got his SSC on the year 1964 and passed his intermediate in 1968. He then enrolled in Dhaka University Bangla division, but he left his studies in the 4th year of his Honors course.
While he was in college, he published his first story ‘Purbadesh’ and he was also a journalist for the Daily ‘Gonokontho’ and ‘Sangbad’.
Though Kayes Ahmed spent his whole life working as a teacher, Until his death, he was a Bangla teacher at Dhaka Wills Little Flower School.
He got married in 1983. His only sons’ name is Anik Ahmed. In 1990 he recieved the ‘Humayun Kobir Sriti Puroskar’
Kayes Ahmed died in suicide on 14 June 1992
