Kazi Motahar Hossain was born in 30 July 1897. He was a Bangladeshi writer, scientist, statistician, chess player, and journalist. He was a pioneer of statistics education. In Bangladesh, he was someone who pioneered education in Bangladesh both as a faculty and administrator. He was born into the aristocratic Kazi family of Bagmara. He joined the Newly established University of Dhaka in 1921, still a student of MA at Dhaka College, as a demonstrator of physics. Two years later, in 1923, he was promoted to assistant lecturer. He contributed a lot to the implementation of logic, lucidity, simplicity of Language, and Clarity in his writings. His writings reached a lot of people and benefited the whole country, as he earned many awards in his life.
