Nabo Kumar Basu was born on 10 December 1949, He lived in childhood days in a poor family, he lived in Atoppur and Noihati.
He studied at Noihati Boys School and Bhatpara Boys School, Aside from studying he played badminton and volleyball, he could not only sing well, but also could play the Tabla, and many more classical instruments.
In 1977 his written Short story got published in the Desh newspaper. Over two hundred Short stories, and over 40 Novels had been published in the Desh newspaper, other than these he had written many more and made a great effect on Bangla literature history.
In 2021 from England’s UKBC, he got a Lifetime Achievement award for his Literary practice.
