Book Review
One of the best books by Humayun Ahmed. I have already read it several times. The story touches me every time. I suggest people read this one. I would love to reread this book. Humayun told the whole family tale in such a magical tone and drew the familial tensions so vividly. I read this book a long time back (almost 12 years), and till this day it has the same appeal to me. I remember, up to my teen days, every time I read this book, I cried. I’d like to include it in my ’10 best Bangladeshi novels’ list. I would have included this even if I were to pick five instead of 10!
