Dana Arden’s story “Sublime Vanity” is an engrossing tale of deception and love. Sadie, the main character, is a lady who longs for love and affection but finds it difficult to give it to someone else. For nine years, she was adored by a guy who provided for all of her needs. But Sadie is hesitant to give in when he asks for stability in their relationship because she thinks someone else could provide it.
When she finds out he’s getting married, she reappears in his life becomes pregnant, and persuades him that the child is his. Although this book can be read alone it is best to first read the earlier volumes in the series to gain a deeper understanding. Because of certain sequences that might not be appropriate for all readers, it is intended for an audience of 18 years and up.
