Ahmed Deedat or Ahmed Husein Deedat was a self-taught Muslim thinker, Writer, and Orator on the Comparative Religion who was born in Tadkeshwar, Surat, Bombay Presidency, British India in 1918. After the birth of Ahmed Deedat, his father emigrated to South Africa shortly after. And settled in Kwazulu-Natal; where Ahmed Deedat also joined him when he was just 9 years old. And Ahmed Deedat’s mother died after a few months after his departure to South Africa.
Ahmed Deedat is best known as a Muslim missionary. Ahmed Deedat established the IPCI, and the international Islamic Missionary Organization, and wrote several widely distributed booklets on Islam and Christianity. Ahmed Deedat was awarded the King Faisal International Prize in 1986 for his 50 years of missionary work.
