Anupam Hayat was a Bangladeshi author and film critic who is also the author of the first textbook on film in Bangladesh titled Cholochitra Bidya. The “Cholochitra Bidya” was published by the film study center in 2004. And he is also the author of another textbook on cinema as an art “Chalachitra Kala”; published by the University Grants Commission in 2007.
