Crocodile

Crocodile is a novel by Daniel Shand. It tells the tale of Chloe who is an 11-year-old girl who is sent to spend her summer holidays at her grandparents’ home. Chloe’s mother is unwell, and all Chloe yearns for is to go back to her mother’s disordered home, filled with stale tea, overflowing ashtrays, empty cans, and frozen cheesecake for breakfast.
