Gift Card Designing is a short instructional book by Pedro Joseph de Lemos (1882-1954), the Arts and Crafts designer who headed the Stanford University Museum and edited the School Arts Magazine. It walks students through lettering, simple ornament, colour schemes, and printing methods for hand-made greeting and gift cards, in the project format de Lemos perfected for American classrooms. The book is a small window into the school crafts movement of the early twentieth century. Free PDF download available on BDeBooks.
