The Lonely City

The Lonely City basically written by Olivia Laing is a good attempt to present a vast study on loneliness. Memoir, art history and sociology are the fields in which Laing considers loneliness as the topic narrating the stories of the famous artists who were in solitude during their creative process. It is really sentimental and philosophical work which reveals a genuine idea of who every person is and what he really lacks – communication.
