Forever Haunt

“Forever Haunt” by Adam Carpenter is an interesting mystery novel. Fifteen years ago, NYPD Officer Joseph McSwain was shot and died while trying to stop a heist. His murder is still unsolved to this day. Hell’s Kitchen private detective Jimmy McSwain believes that losing his father has defined, defied, and stopped him from enjoying life. After yet another murder, Jimmy goes home, and upon more inquiry, he unearths a horrific family secret that will haunt him for the rest of his life.
