Forgiven

‘Forgiven’ by Ember Dante is an amazing story about a modern military romance. The story’s main character is Alek Pierce, a Navy pilot recovering from wounds received during a botched training mission. His view that a family and the military are incompatible is challenged when he meets veteran Shannon McKenzie, who has vowed never to enter a romantic connection. Through their struggles and burdens, a ray of hope appears. Can they go past their pasts and begin again?
