The main character of the tale is Melody, a college student employed at the Sub Shoppe who finds herself smitten with Finn Caomhanach, a dashing police officer. Finn, an Alpha, knows Melody is his mate despite all of the challenges and perils in his existence. When Finn learns that Melody is in danger from other people who are similar to him, their lives take an exciting turn. The first novel in the “Her Unexpected Mate” series is this one.
