The Dark Lady

The book ‘The Dark Lady’ is written by Dawn Chandler. It is a historical romance set in 12th-century England. In the story, the character, Vanessa Fordella, is forced by her mother to pretend to be a boy, Van, the Dark Knight.  When her mother demands that she give up her love and get married when she is on his deathbed, Van embarks on a challenging journey.
