Deborah Hemming’s engrossing book “Goddess” is about a wellness center on a secluded Greek island. The protagonist of the tale is Agnes Oliver, a budding author who receives an invitation to the Goddess summit from Geia Stone, a well-known actress who is now a wellness expert. Agnes starts to learn Geia’s true identity as she witnesses odd events and the guests being enchanted by her. Agnes takes it upon herself to save the other women from an unanticipated fate after realizing the threat.
