Divided in Death

‘Divided in Death’ is the eighteenth novel in the In Death series written by J.D. Robb, a pen name for Nora Roberts. Reva Ewing, a security expert for Roarke Enterprises and a former member of the Secret Service, is the main suspect in a double killing in this futuristic thriller. She had every reason to want her husband, well-known artist Blair Bissel, dead because he was having an affair with her closest friend.

Lieutenant Eve Dallas, the investigating officer thinks Reva is innocent though. When Eve looks into it, she finds a meticulously manufactured murder scene and a computer attack that threatens Roarke’s business. Eve and Roarke have to break into a covert government organization to uncover corruption and stop a deadly virus from spreading.
