The Cloisters

The Cloisters is set at the real Cloisters museum in New York City. It follows Ann Stilwell, a researcher, who ends up at the smaller Cloisters museum due to an administrative error. There, she becomes obsessed with an ancient deck of tarot cards, exploring themes of destiny, ambition, ethics, and gender disparity in academia.
