A Prophecy of Wings

Jane McGarry’s modern young adult fantasy book “A Prophecy of Wings” is partially based on Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairy tale “Thumbelina.” The sixteen-year-old Lina learns that a hidden Fairy World is intrinsically related to her destiny. Lina discovers she is not human when her mother dies and that she must return to take the kingdom and put an end to her wicked aunt’s rule. Lina meets allies, enemies, and surprising turns on her treacherous voyage.
