Elizabeth Cook’s novel Achilles is a reinterpretation of the mythological story of the famed Greek hero, Achilles. Born to a mortal king and a sea nymph, Achilles is raised as a girl until his true identity is unveiled by Odysseus. He then ascends to become the most formidable warrior of the Greeks in the Trojan War.
