Arrow of God

One of the strongest novels written by Chinua Achebe and situated in Nigeria is the Arrow of God The thematic conflict of the novel is between indigenous culture and the novitiate impact of the British colonization of Nigeria. The action stems from the principal character, Ezeulu an Igbo priest of a man of a strong ego and strong political and spiritual complications. Only a wise man can narrate a story that can abase power, culture and identity in the same way, as Achebe did in this deep thinking story.
