Courting Balance

The second book in Bonnie L. Price’s series of Astral and Umbral is titled “Courting Balance.” The main character of the story is Arianna, who is assigned tasks while adjusting to a new culture. Arianna is faced with a dilemma when the God of Balance shows interest in her: answering back could violate a taboo or aggravate the curse that binds her. Nalithor is working to solve Arianna’s riddle in the meantime.

Before it’s too late, they must choose their stance be it in favor of or against each other because the Balance itself is in jeopardy. A slow-burning romantic fantasy series with sophisticated themes and engrossing mystery is what to expect.
