Elektra

Jennifer Saint’s novel Elektra is one of the Greek tragedies showing elements like family, vengeances, and destiny of the character of the title. On one level, it muses over Elektra’s story and the fact that she learns to accept her father’s murder and the vengeance she seeks. Saint breathes life into this legend which turns the otherwise Greek mythos into a more contemporary and empowering fiction.
