Fake start

The fourth novel in the Kings of the Water series is “Fake Start,” written by Jasmin Miller. The protagonist of the tale is professional Olympic swimmer Hunter Kinney, who is thinking about setting up an imaginary dating arrangement with Daisy, the sister of his closest friend. He is doing this to fulfill a longstanding desire of his by getting a partnership with Lock Performance. But as they act like a couple, strange emotions start to surface. The complex nature of their relationship and the difficulties they encounter in balancing personal aspirations with career goals are examined in the book.
