Falling Into Battle

The first book in the series “The War To End All Wars” is “Falling Into Battle,” written by Andrew Wareham. In 1913, it tracks four midshipmen; three of them advance to the rank of sublieutenant, while the fourth, Baker, enlists in the Territorial Army. Everybody encounters different obstacles and surprises as the conflict starts.
