Fire Ship

Diane Carey’s Fire Ship is included in the Star Trek: The Captain’s Table book series. During an unfamiliar war, Captain Kathryn Janeway finds herself by herself on an extraterrestrial ship. She has to acclimate herself to this new society swiftly and make her way back to captaincy to defend her new allies against an oncoming war that she is unaware is approaching. Following a conflict with the Menace, the story is set in the Delta Quadrant, where Janeway finds herself stranded.
