Horse Soldiers

Horse Soldiers is a nonfiction book written by Doug Stanton. It tells the extraordinary story of a small band of U.S. Special Forces soldiers who secretly entered Afghanistan following the 9/11 attacks and rode to war on horses against the Taliban. Outnumbered forty to one, they pursued the enemy across the mountainous terrain of Afghanistan.
