Howling at the Moon

The first book in the Tales of an Urban Werewolf series is titled “Howling at the Moon” and was written by Karen MacInerney. Introducing Sophie Garou, an accomplished accountant who hides a secret—she is a werewolf. She has a difficult time getting by in human society, especially during her special “time of the month.” Sophie conceals her supernatural identity with the help of her mother’s magic store and regular doses of wolfsbane tea.

However, Sophie’s animal instincts and her relationship with her human partner are put to the test when a golden-eyed werewolf shows up in town.
