Kate’s Outlaw

The historical Western television series “Steam! Romance and Rails” features “Kate’s Outlaw” by E.E. Burke. Heiress Kate Parsons, the main character, intervenes to settle a property dispute before her father’s railroad fails, only to be wrongly kidnapped. Kate is initially terrified for her life, but she quickly learns that her captor isn’t the true savage. With twists, many points of view, cliffhangers, and morally gray love interests, the book is a dark, slow-burning paranormal romance.
