Last Seen Alive

The Ellery Hathaway mystery series by Joanna Schaffhausen’s sixth novel is titled “Last Seen Alive.” The narrative centers on FBI agent Reed Markham and Boston detective Ellery Hathaway, whose shared background is shaped by the horrifying murders of serial killer Francis Coben.

The location of the other bodies is to be revealed by Coben, but only if Reed brings Ellery with him. Ellery must determine whether Coben can be saved as she considers his proposal and a new body bearing his autograph appears.
