Mary of Marion Isle

H. Rider Haggard wrote “Mary of Marion Isle,” a posthumous book that was released in 1929. The protagonist of the tale is a small young man, with sandy hair, straight eyes, and no eyebrows. He may be ordinary in appearance, but he is thirsty for the joys of the world and loves it. But he suffers from a fatal illness and must leave life and all of its pleasures far too soon.
