The story is about Thorne, a former Marine, who is blackmailed by his old comrade, Blake, into stealing a painting. In the story, the heist goes wrong and leaves a policeman dead and Thorne realizes Blake’s true plan as well as the kidnapping of the painting’s owner’s wife.
