Obsidian Wings

The fourth book in Laken Cane’s Rune Alexander series is titled “Obsidian Wings.” The protagonist of the tale is Rune Alexander, who learns about bird shifters—specifically, a woman by the name of Cree Stark—and witnesses horrific killings in River County.

Rune believes that these shifters are concealing information concerning the twins and the slayers from her. Rune Alexander is maturing along with the team and the world. The novel focuses on Rune’s emotional journey, her romantic relationships, and her growing realization to confront the future.
