Joanne Ryan’s “One Night” is an interesting psychological suspenseful story. Josie, the main character, has a history of drinking a lot and forgetting what she did. She finds her ex-boyfriend Rafe killed when she wakes up from a night of binge drinking.
She starts to recall bits and pieces of the night that she wishes she could forget as she struggles with the thought that she was involved in the murder. The dramatic investigation of guilt, memory, and the horrifying prospect of self-incrimination in the book.
