Paths of the Norseman

Jason Born’s second book, “Paths of the Norseman,” is a beautifully detailed historical account of Halldorr, an orphan whose only wish was to lie next to a warm hearth and a plump wife. But for him, destiny had other plans. As a result, he was banished and forced to live a life of pillage and survival that involved raiding and killing. To exact revenge on the man who wrongfully banished him thirteen years prior, Halldorr goes to Greenland on this quest with his adopted brother Leif.

But he finds that his dreams of calm are dashed by the tides of history as he travels across unfamiliar territory. The historical drama “Paths of the Norseman” captivates viewers with its lifelike portrayals of historical figures such as Erik the Red, Leif Eriksson, and Freydis Eriksdottir.
