Primal Force

D. D. Ayres’s amazing novel is titled ‘Primal Force.’ The main characters in this story are Jori Garrison and Lauray ‘Law’ Batisse. Jori was wrongfully accused of a felony four years ago because of her ex-fiance. Jori trains dogs for Warrior Wolf Pack, which provides support animals for handicapped soldiers. Now, she wants to live a peaceful life with her beloved dogs. Law is a Military Police veteran who was wounded in Afghanistan, and the memories of his K-9 partner’s death in combat haunt him.

At first, he is hesitant to welcome Samantha a service dog into his life. But after meeting Jori his attitude changes. Their mutual attraction is intense, deadly, and violent. Jori’s only chance of life may lie with Law and his new K-9 companion as invisible foes begin to hunt them down.
