Seven Houses in France

The book “Seven Houses in France” is a novel written by Bernardo Atxaga. As seen in the story, is set around the garrison of Yangambi on the banks of the Congo in 1903 and is commanded by Captain Lalande Biran. Biran is also a poet and wants to return to the literary café in Paris. Biran’s wife in the story is Christine and she wants to own seven houses in France, this is one of her hopes.
