Siege Weapons

Harry F. Rey’s debut novel in the Galactic Captains series is called ‘Siege Weapons.’  The last of his kind, Captain Ales is a lone smuggler at the Outer Verge of the galaxy. Finding love in this remote part of the galaxy proves to be challenging for him as he attempts to move on from a life of drugs and pointless sex.

He is drawn to the mystery smuggling expedition because it promises him the dominance he so desperately wants to escape a besieged society. But Ales quickly finds himself involved in an intergalactic power battle that can endanger everything.
