Slave to Passion

The second book in Elisabeth Naughton’s Firebrand series is titled “Slave to Passion.” The main character of the story is Nasir, a once-proud Marid warrior and djinn prince who is forced into servitude and forced to fight in Jahannam’s pits. He becomes a renowned and dreaded assassin. An attractive lady who could hold the key to his salvation enters his cell, changing the course of his life. Kavin the lady was sold into slavery and needed to establish her value. Even though she will be a concubine her life will be luxurious if she can spend only one night in the embrace of a murderer. She used to dream of independence but nowadays all she wants is to survive. Her only chance of surviving is seduction when the gladiator forbids him from touching her.
