Someone Like You

Brittney Sahin’s “Someone Like You” is a stand-alone modern military romance. The protagonists of the tale are Grace, a woman from an affluent family, and Noah, a single parent and former Navy SEAL. When they first meet in a bar, they are drawn to one another right away. They are drawn to one another despite their disparate upbringings and complicated lives.

Grace’s seemingly ideal existence starts to go out of hand, and Noah’s protective nature takes over. The book investigates whether people can accept that they are only here temporarily and whether or not someone would inevitably suffer harm.
