Spy’s Honor

The second novel in the Hearts and Thrones series is “Spy’s Honor” by Amy Raby. It relates the tale of Rhianne, an Imperial Princess of Kjall and mind magician, who covertly helps those who fall prey to the emperor’s most extreme misdeeds. She is faced with a choice as the emperor decides to marry her to the brutal Augustan.

While spying inside the Kjallan palace, Janto, the crown prince of Mosari, falls in love with Rhianne out of desperation to keep his nation safe from invasion. The book looks at the tension that exists between emotion and responsibility.
