Hannah Doyle’s “The A to Z of Us” is an enjoyable romantic comedy. Alice, a self-described cynic about love, opens the story, and Zach, a romantic who is ready to settle down, closes it. Zach advises that their next date should start with a BÂ after they had a fortuitous encounter at an art gallery. Zach is desperate to win Alice over to the idea of love, so she agrees to go on one date. The book presents dating in a way you’ve never seen before and investigates if love can ever be as simple as ABC.
