The Anguish of the Jews

Edward H. Flannery’s breakthrough history of anti-Semitism is titled “The Anguish of the Jews: Twenty-Three Centuries of Antisemitism.” This revised and updated edition, written by a Roman Catholic priest, is still relevant today. It covers the last 20 years and considers Middle Eastern happenings, exposing the reality of historical anti-Semitism in the US and around the world. It also looks at how Christian philosophy has been influenced by the study of Judaism.
