The Beauty

The author of the book ‘The Beauty’ is Aliya Whiteley. The story is set in the Valley of the Rocks, where a society of men and boys gather around the fire each night to listen to their history recounted by Nate, the storyteller. In the story, one evening, Nate brings back new secrets from the forest as well as strange mushrooms growing out of the ground where women’s bodies are buried.
