The Ice-Maiden

The book ‘The Ice-Maiden’ is written by Hans Christian Andersen. ‘The Ice-Maiden’ is a fairy tale, the book was first published in 1861. It is set in Switzerland and revolves around Rudy, a boy who loses his parents and lives with his uncle. As the story goes, Rudy is an accomplished mountaineer and he grows up that way and later falls in love with Miller’s daughter Babette.
