The Poetical Works of David Gray

The Poetical Works of David Gray follows the story of a young Scottish poet David Gray from Merkland, Kirkintilloch, who died at only 23. His friend and fellow poet, Robert Buchanan, later wrote his biography and compiled all of Gray’s mature poems into this edition, both as a tribute to Gray’s talent and to showcase Buchanan’s thoughtful curation.
