The Red Death

The Red Death is set in 568 AD. King Arthur’s aged grandson Coel writes his life story from a monastery in Brittany. Fleeing Britain after Arthur’s death, Coel brings Arthur’s famous sword Caledfwlch, to the glittering and dangerous Late Roman Empire. The novel follows Coel’s adventures from Constantinople to the Hippodrome racetrack.
