The Smallest Part

Amy Harmon’s moving story “The Smallest Part” depicts the story of Mercedes, who, when questioned if she is in love with Noah, tells the biggest lie of her life. Since her friend Cora also adores Noah, she tries to hide her feelings. Mercedes turns becomes a close friend, a godmother, a bridesmaid, and a glue, there for everyone through good times and bad, highs and lows, the biggest events, and the little ones. But when it all falls apart this story ends up being about the girl who didn’t fall for the guy.
