Joydeb Mukhopadhyay was born in Birvumi District, Bolpur. He was a Bengali writer and a researcher of Consciousness. He was from a well-known and largely respected Family. Both his father and Grandfather were Noble men. he got his doctorate in Eastern philosophy and started his writing on Asia while traveling.His greatest piece of work is 'Choitonnodeb' a murder mystery. He was able to read many different languages and was very knowledgeable in many subjects and literature for that reason.he died in 1995 on April 17.
